Professional background
Since 2018, Luc Rodier has been President and CEO of Guillevin International, one of Canada's leading electrical distributors. With a marked passion for people and operations, he stands out for his ability to identify strategic opportunities and transform them into significant growth leverages for the company.
Prior to joining Guillevin, Luc accumulated over 15 years' experience with Canada's largest hardware retailer, where he evolved until the group's sale to US interests in 2016. Hired as a regional manager, he quickly rose through the ranks to become regional vice-president, then executive vice-president of operations. Recognized for his ability to identify development opportunities, mobilize teams and turn around financial performance, his contribution has left a lasting imprint on this organization.

Founded in 1906 in Montreal, Guillevin International is one of the largest distributors of electrical equipment in Canada. It is also a major distributor of safety products and equipment, as well as industrial supplies.

Expenses related to this virtual initiative are minimal. Nearly all revenues generated are donated to the IRCM Foundation, whose mission is to support basic and clinical research at the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal (IRCM).
Researchers at the IRCM, grouped around 4 major themes, are working to deepen our knowledge of almost all the major diseases of our time: cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular, genetic or inflammatory diseases, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, to name but a few. Physicians at the IRCM Clinic care for patients living with complex or rare diseases that require ultra-specialized follow-up.
